Since childhood, I’ve always created. Taking my dreams and spinning them into reality brought me great joy. I never gave much thought of the opinions of others. As I got older, I judged my work by my own standards. When I began working at seventeen, I started as a receptionist and worked my way up to Project Manager. I used my experience, education, and drive to fuel my success.

When the pandemic hit, I was laid off from my job. Looking for work that paid well with what I had achieved throughout my years in the corporate world was shooting too high I soon realized. I couldn’t accept low paying jobs that barely paid the rent, bills, and other amenities that brought me and my family joy. I didn’t want to just survive by the skin of my teeth.

I wasn’t going to get that from a 9-to-5. I began looking for work on job boards as a freelancer. Taking on the clients and people I wanted to work with. Sure, in the beginning, I took any work I could get. The bills needed to be paid after all. Eventually, my freelancing grew into a small business. Now not only do I help entrepreneurs grow their own businesses, but I help those who work for me escape that corporate world that takes everything and gives nothing in return.
